Charity Bake Sale

Posted on: 05/12/2022

Last Friday, the Charity and Equality & Diversity Committees joined forces to run Nower Hill's first ‘Identi-tea’ bake sale competition.  We were so impressed by the creative and diverse entries, alongside which students included an explanation of how their bake represented their identity.  The cupcakes, brownies, flapjacks and cookies were sold by the committee members in the Hall at lunchtime, raising a fantastic £300 for the Malala Fund.

The overall winning entry was awarded to Mei from 7KN with her sushi inspired cupcakes. Four runners up were also chosen by the judging panel to receive a prize:  Isabelle 7NH, Jaden 6BN, Jaya 7SN and Mohammad 8GN. Well done to the students who entered and of course to the Senior Student Leaders who ran the competition, with a particular special mention going to Salihah in 6SH. We are extremely proud of you all.
