Training to Teach: Initial Teacher Training at Nower Hill High School

Nower Hill High School works in partnership with two training providers to offer a variety of routes into teaching.

We are working with Teach West London (local Teaching School Hub) to recruit, train and support new trainee teachers for the West London region. 
This route offers a salaried and a non-salaried route into teaching. Both of these routes ensure that you will be in the classroom from day one.

We are also working in partnership with Middlesex University to offer school based training.
In partnership with Middlesex University, a salaried apprenticeship route and a school based PGCE route are offered. The apprenticeship route gives you an opportunity to be in the classroom from day one. The school based PGCE route is suitable for trainees with limited previous experience working in a school.This gives the opportunity for university based training prior to the first school experience.
