TEACHING ASSISTANT (MATERNITY COVER)
30 hours (5 days) per week term time only (8.15am to 3.15pm, with a one hour unpaid break). Maternity cover contract at scale H2 rising to H3, starting at £20,835 per annum, which pro rata is £14,784 per annum.
Required from 2nd September 2020, an enthusiastic and committed person to support and work with students within and outside of the classroom. It is desirable that applicants hold a degree qualification or equivalent but this is not essential.
An interest in working with students with a wide range of special educational needs including emotional, social and mental health needs is essential, together with an interest in supporting second language learners. A caring, flexible and common sense approach is important.
Excellent CPD opportunities are available in our highly regarded Inclusion faculty and many of our Teaching Assistants move on to successful teaching careers.
