In June Nower Hill donated over 10 boxes of old and unused text books to a children’s charity called Shishukunj. This is an organisation for youth led by youth. Every diverse activity that they do, be it physical, mental, spiritual, cultural or social is organised by youngsters aged 15 to 25.

For one of their international projects they went around London schools and collected thousands of books to be shipped in containers to Kenya and India to help students in those countries.

Mrs Shah, from the Inclusion department at NHHS, coordinated with Heads of Faculties and collected lots of books.

Special thanks to the school’s librarian; Mrs Loveridge,Mr Want, Mrs Chaudhry, Mr Mason, Mrs Dale and Mr Kennedy who kindly donated books.
