The Globe Players Present Macbeth

Posted on: 26/11/2020

The English faculty continue to explore innovative and dynamic ways of navigating around the restrictions and challenges presented by the pandemic.

On Wednesday 25th November, the Y side of Year 11 remained isolated in their classrooms but joined a number of other schools across London on Zoom to watch the Globe Players present their live, socially distanced video performance of Macbeth.

The actors use technology to its limit to engage the audience and to interact with each other across their virtual stage. At the end, students and staff asked questions of the actors and listened to a panel discussion about the play, its significance today and, of course, how to write successfully about it in an exam.
