Admissions Procedure during School Closure
- Following advice from the Harrow Council Schools' Admission Service, in-year applications are currently suspended, although parents/carers can still make applications. Any offers made over the last few weeks will be put on hold until schools reopen. In the interim, parents/carers will be contacted by the school and provided with further advice.
- We will continue to follow the 11+ offer schedule and will work alongside the co-ordination timeline, which indicates the key dates for secondary transition (click here for more details).
- For all families joining us in September 2020, we look forward to welcoming you. The first day for your child commences on Friday 4th September at 9am. Please find all relevant correspondence about the start of year arrangements for your child under the downloads section of the Primary Transition page. If you have any questions we are here to help and can be contacted on firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are thinking of applying for a place at our school for your child in Year 7, in the first instance, please visit our Virtual Open Week at the end of September. Unfortunately, Open Week cannot take place in person this year during Monday 28th September – Friday 2nd October 2020. Holding such events is not in accordance with current guidelines and the safety of our school community remains our top priority. We would still welcome you to join us for our Virtual Open Week to help families decide on the best choice of school for their child. At the start of September, please re-visit our school website to find out more information. We have 324 places in Year 7. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
The school Admissions Service co-ordinates school admissions for Harrow Council. The service acts as a first point of contact for parents and carers for queries relating to transfer to high school or in year transfers.
If you wish to apply to Nower Hill for a place for your child, please see the links below for further information.
Occasionally we have places become available in year in all Year groups, so if you wish your child to transfer to our school from elsewhere, please contact School Admissions at the London Borough of Harrow to put their name on our waiting list.
The applications for secondary school places starting in September 2019 closed on the 31 October 2018, but a late application can be submitted via the eAdmissions website.
Please see the following link from London Borough of Harrow confirming how places have been allocated for 2020/21
