Parents and Friends of Nower Hill High School are delighted to announce they will be presenting their first ever Comedy Fundraiser on Thursday 29th September 2022 at Nower Hill High School for Parents/Carers’ of Nower Hill students.

The line-up includes internationally renowned Irish comedian Keith Farnan who has performed as a stand up all over the world from Montreal to Amsterdam to Hong Kong. His 4 Edinburgh Festival shows have proved a powerful mix of the personal and political and have sold out their runs at major comedy festivals throughout the UK. Keith has also appeared on BBC’s Michael Mcintyre Comedy Roadshow and written for Time Out, Hot Press and The Irish Post.

Mary Bourke, an Irish comic based in London will also be performing on the night. She has been described by GQ magazine as one of the "best female comics in the country" and has won numerous awards for her solo comedy shows.

The evening will also feature Barry Castagnola who has been performing stand-up comedy in the UK and internationally since his debut at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.

Award winning stand-up comedian, actor and writer Philip Simon will be hosting and presenting the event.

Please note this is an over 18s only event. No students will be admitted unfortunately. Due to the anticipated demand, ticket sales are limited to 4 per parent/carer of Nower Hill students. Doors open at 7.30pm. Refreshments and raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the evening. Card and cash payments accepted.

Tickets can be purchased through the Event Bright website.

We would like to thank Keith Farnan, Mary Bourke , Barry Castagnola and Philip Simon for hosting this event on a voluntary basis.  We are very fortunate to have such an outstanding group of comedians who are willing to give their time and expertise to help Nower Hill High School raise funds to support new projects.

We hope that you will be able to come along and enjoy an evening of laughter, whilst raising funds for school projects.
