Goodbye Year 11!

Posted on: 07/06/2021

On Friday 21st May 2021, we officially said goodbye to the Year 11 Class of 2021. After a three week period of GCSE assessments, Year 11 came together to sign each others shirts and bid a final farewell to their friends, teachers and a rather challenging couple of years.

Head Prefects, Niamh Shute and Tejas Khambayta delivered heartfelt speeches to the year group, followed by Assistant Headteacher, Mrs Cox, and Year Coordinators, Mr Ahern and Mrs Mainwaring, who also said some words. All enjoyed the traditional handing out of student and teacher awards, including ‘Most likely to be a future Prime Minister’ for the students and ‘Most likely to be an undercover superhero’ for the teachers.

We are pleased that many of the students will be returning to study at Nower Hill Sixth Form and wish all of Year 11 the very best in their future endeavours.
