The Young Enterprise QuickStart™ Music Programme

The Young Enterprise QuickStart™ Music Programme offers groups of up to 50 students aged 13 to 15 the experience of setting up and running their own real mini music enterprise in school. Working in company teams students take on the full spectrum of music industry functions and roles to put on a music event or produce and sell a music product.

Founded in 1963, UK registered charity Young Enterprise runs a range of business and enterprise education programmes for more than 150,000 young people each year through the support of 2000+ businesses and 11,500+ volunteers. The Young Enterprise programme range offers students the opportunity to run a real company in Company Programme, Team Programme and Graduate Programme; and to learn about aspects of business from the first hand experiences of volunteers in Primary Programme, Project Business and Entrepreneurship Masterclass.
Young Enterprise UK is made up of 12 regional organisations each operating under a license agreement with Young Enterprise UK. Each Young Enterprise Region is run by an elected Board of Directors and the Regional Chair holds a seat on the UK Board.Young Enterprise operates through support from the business community and the Government. This support is provided in a variety of forms: financial, in-kind, and through the provision and encouragement of volunteers. The businesses and volunteers that support Young Enterprise take an active role in building a better-motivated, educated and enterprising workforce, at the same time making a real difference to the existing lives and future potential of young people who live and attend school in their area.
At Nower Hill there are between 20 - 25 Year 10's involved with Young Enterprise.
