Some Important Dates to Remember

Thursday 4th March & Wednesday 10th March – Y9 Parent/Teachers Evenings

Week 1 commencing Mon 22nd March and Week 2 from Mon 29th March 2010 -Work Experience for Y10’s

The Year 11 Awards Assembly, to which Parents and Carers are invited, will take place at 8.45am on Wednesday 24th March 2010

Spring term ends for pupils on Tuesday 30th March and for staff on Thursday 1st April

Summer term begins with a normal school day on Monday 19th April

The Thames Boat Trip, another school tradition, will take place on Friday 7th May 2010. This follows our Leaver’s Assembly on the same afternoon and marks the beginning of studyleave for the GCSE Examination period

Tuesday 11th May 2010 – Y10 Parent Consultation Day - 1.30 – 4pm and 4.30 – 7pm. School closes at 12.45pm for all pupils except some 6 th form classes on that day.

Friday 14th May – Y11 Leavers Assembly and Y11 Final Day - Please note this is a change of date from the one originally published. School closes at 12.45 for Years 8,9,10.

Summer term half term holiday is 31st May – 4th June

Friday 9th July - Year 12 finish

In conjunction with the other High Schools in Harrow taking Year 7 pupils, and, therefore, a double intake of 600 with new Year 8 pupils in September 2010, Summer term will end for pupils on Friday 16th July. This will give us the following week to manage the moves into our two new teaching blocks and the resultant re-organisation that goes with this movement and to put the finishing touches to the vast amount of work that we have carried out in preparation for the change in Age of Transfer.
