Punctuality

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you, in advance, for your support. It is by working together and having a true partnership between home and school that we can ensure our pupils achieve their best. We wish to remind you of the importance of both punctuality and uniform. A settled start to the school day is vital and ensures your son/daughter does not miss vital information at registration time. Pupils should aim to arrive between 8.30 and 8.40 a.m. when they may enter the school buildings and go straight to their tutor group rooms for registration at 8.45 a.m.

Uniform

We expect pupils to look smart when they come to school and thus to wear full school uniform.

If your child arrives at school without a tie, blazer or jumper they will need to come and see us for the relevant piece of uniform. This will mean that pupils are in correct uniform every day, and all day. We have purchased a large number of black plimsolls for pupil use. Trainers are not part of the school uniform and therefore should not be worn in school.

Those pupils who are wearing trainers will be asked to change them for a pair of plimsolls for the day. Their trainers will be returned at the end of the school day.

The above items will be washed on site regularly so they are clean for each new wearer. Failure to adhere to the above initiatives may result in your child being sent home to get the correct uniform. As always, there may be incidences when the issues with uniform cannot be helped. If this is the case, we would appreciate it if you could ensure that your child has a letter in their school diary outlining any problems.
