Visit to

Hillingdon Outdoor Activities Centre

Year 8 Study Support Group

On Friday 13th June '08, despite the omen of the date, a group of 11 Year 8 boys who have completed a study support course on Thursdays after school this year were rewarded for their work with a visit to HOAC, an outdoor activities centre in Harefield, Hillingdon.

They took part in problem solving and decision making activities in the great outdoors, including challenges called Leviathan, Juggernaut, River Crossing and High Ropes.

The river crossing was particularly demanding, as Zaman and Ekene found out when they fell in! Fortunately the vast majority of us made it across the water eventually.

Have a look at the photos to see the boys in action.
