Nower Hill works collaboratively with our linked cluster of middle schools: Cannon Lane, Pinner Park, Pinner Wood and West Lodge, throughout the school year.
Our aim is to create positive links for
students prior to their transfer to High
School.
In addition to young people from our
cluster schools Nower Hill annually welcomes many students from a variety of other middle schools into our new Year 8, and Year 7 from September 2010. Students come from within the London Borough of Harrow and beyond.
In May 2007 Ofsted made the following judgement about transition arrangements at Nower Hill:
'Students make an excellent transition from middle to secondary school and the school enjoys the overwhelming support of the vast majority of parents who reported to inspectors how pleased they are that their children are receiving a high quality education.'
As for all other Harrow Community High schools, admissions to Nower Hill have to be made to the:-
Applications are dealt with by the Admissions Service. Applications should be made on Harrow’s application form for a Harrow Community high school place.
Applications for places at Nower Hill should be made to the London Borough of Harrow.
The deadline for application for September 2011 is Friday 22/10/10.
Offers of places will be confirmed by the London Borough of Harrow in March 2011. Nower Hill will be in contact shortly after that date.
