Nower Hill High School
The show was a musical with a difference. It followed the story of Bugsy Malone and his romance with Blousey Brown.
Unfortunately, they lived in a city run by gangsters who tend to make a quiet life difficult for normal folks! We were amazed by the guns that shoot splurge, and dodged the flying custard pies, admired the skill of the speakeasy dancers and were astounded by the foolishness of the singing gangsters.
It was great fun for all the family, and a fantastic night out! This year's production was our biggest ever! It involved 170 pupils, both onstage and backstage, and contributions from drama, dance, music, art and media!
