On Tuesday 26th June teams of Year 5 students from West Lodge Primary, Vaughan Primary, Cannon Lane, Marlborough Primary, Norbury and Grimsdyke School took part in our annual Year 5 Maths Challenge.

The competition started with a Scavenger Hunt followed by a Treasure Hunt to find clues around Nower Hill High School. The final round was a Maths Quiz which began with a warm up of memorising as many digits of π as possible.

Thanks to the support of our Year 7 students and Year 10 Peer Mentors, the students had a very enjoyable afternoon.

Congratulations to Norbury School for winning first place, closely followed by West Lodge Primary School who won second place with just two points between them!
