Posted on: 26/06/2020

8NH, 8BH and 8NN were tasked with researching different aspects of food production and finding out about the debates surrounding the production of enough food to feed everyone on the planet. Titled "Growing enough crop to feed the world," students discussed:

  • The organic vs non-organic debate;
  • Are fertilizers any good?
  • What about pesticides?
  • Is selective breeding the answer?
  • Reccomendations to eat differently.

The following research papers were collated from the students' research of individual topics illustrating a great collective understanding of the issues and potential solutions to this important topic. Well done Year 8!
